“囚人（rén），告訴我，是誰鑄的這條監牢的鎖鏈？”
“是我，”囚人說，“是我自己用心鑄造的。我以為我的無敵的權力會征服世界，使我有無礙的自由。我日夜用烈火重錘打造了這條鐵鏈。等到工作完成，鐵鏈完善牢不（bú）可破，我發現這鐵鏈把我捆住了。”
